I actually hated my he5se until I EQ the bass up now it slaps SO HARD. It handled it like a champ. totally different headphone now- jrenai

LOL Look at my comment right above this one! I didnt even look at this before hand but I also almost sold mine today until i tried EQ. Turning the bass shelf up was a complete difference! It actually handles it easily where I thought it was clipping in the bass not EQ'd when I would turn it up...- jrenai

I just put my he5se up for sale because I thought the bass was slightly lacking. But when I tried it just now with the bass EQ'd up, this thing actually thumps and vibrates on my head. Listening to 2049 by hans zimmer WAS AN EXPERIENCE! I'm guessing this one will also benefit from a speaker amp...- jrenai

DMS released his review on these today. You should watch it because the sound stage and low end is everything the 600 line wishes it could be according to him. And the detail is on par with the 660s and ITS ONLY 200 right now which would be amazing if this is all true- jrenai

Upgrade suggestion from the Modhouse Argon MKIII
GOT SCAMMED ON EBAY FOR A FAKE PAIR OR ARGONS. They put a headband and zmf pads and sold it as an argon but obviously still had the stock cups. Be careful out there- jrenai
