I bought a pair in November. If i move them with my hands then they creak but I do not ever hear creaking when I move my head. I am enjoying them quite a lot.- jqgw

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?
I received the replacement WH1000-XM3's last week and I am happy to report that with the new pair the people that I call on my cellphone do not hear any echo and say that the sound quality is much better. than with the previous pair.- jqgw

Thanks for testing this. I tried pairing the headphones with my wife's iPhone 7 in case the echo was related to Android, but it is still there. Since they were out of the return period, I called Sony while using the headphones so they would hear the problem. They agreed to replace them. I...- jqgw

I have a pair that I use with a Galaxy s8 plus cellphone. When I use them in phone calls then the people that I am talking to all say that when they speak then they hear an echo of their own voice. I kept them. I will try to figure out what I did not like about them as much as some of my other IEMs. in general I know that I find many IEMs and headphones fatigueing, which is why I like the Oppos, so maybe boosting the highs is not such a good idea for me.
