Audiobyte Hydra Stack: Hydra.Vox + Hydra.Hub + Hydra Zap
The dealer set up was poor... after reading VOX and hearing Vox at the dealer didn't do justice. Wavelight... from the dealer listening sounded more organic to me. VOX , I manage to get it home for the trial. At home setting, much better sounding than Wavelight, and with I2S another big...- joyck888

Dir dsd disables volume function. Make you off it or else blow spk. I am clicks too when changes to 16 to 24 tp dsd recording etc- joyck888

Audiobyte Hydra Stack: Hydra.Vox + Hydra.Hub + Hydra Zap
The preamp section works so beautifully, I can throw away my preamp and can live with the Hydra vox for Dac and Pre. Just connect to a nice tube amp or solid-state.. game over. I2S is the best way to go to get the best out of it- joyck888

Audiobyte Hydra Stack: Hydra.Vox + Hydra.Hub + Hydra Zap
I sold away terminator, in the plan for t plus upgrade. After hearing Vox, to me clear jump from the terminator so brainer to move to this. The form factor of size, sound, and headphone amp is another plus. Pre section is good... all this before even adding hub. Anyways but the decision...- joyck888

Audiobyte Hydra Stack: Hydra.Vox + Hydra.Hub + Hydra Zap
Okay.. using third party I2S feeding to VOX still makes a significant sound improvement over USB, or External mutec3 reclocked SPDIF input to VOX. While waiting for the hydra hub, if you have a USB to I2S converted such as Matrix Audio, Hydra Z, Denafrips, AudioGD .. will be a big step up...- joyck888

Audiobyte Hydra Stack: Hydra.Vox + Hydra.Hub + Hydra Zap
Okay.. For the I2S configuration that is not rockna or hydra. Need to open the Vox and set the dip switch to on to make this work. It turns off the i2s isolation and enables the PSAudio I2S setting. For Temp solution, I am using cheap Matrix Audio SPDIF 2 to covert USB to I2S into Hydra...- joyck888
