Thanks for all the suggestions. By relatively inexpensive I mean in the 1000-1200 range(a little more or less is ok). And the reason it must be a laptop is because I am a college student and I need the portability a laptop affords me but also want to be able to game at school.

I also tried unplugging my router and plugging it back in with no effect. And I tried uninstalling Firefox fully and reinstalling with no results as well. Additionally, I figured out how to create a new Firefox profile which also did nothing. Any other suggestions?
