Wow! My upgraded Gungnir just returned from the mothership on Saturday. Thankfully, it did not have to sit there for weeks during a shutdown. Now I can enjoy it while I am on hiatus. My Gumby sounds great so far. Thanks Jason!

Depends.... smooth or crunchy?  

Using Sys in reserve turned out to be a great option for me. I have Korg DS-DAC-10R I use for recording LPs.  I was over switching wires around to use the Korg until reading about this device.  Now I use one side to Phono on my receiver and one to AUX for recording.  Works perfect!

I was limited on time too, so I was just running the Jot through my powered M‑Audio StudioPhile AV 40 Speakers.  I use them as computer speakers.  My cans are the HD600 (balanced) and Grado SR225.

I received a Jot with the DAC option today and it sounded great out of the box. Can't wait to hear it once it has time run for a couple of weeks.

Thanks. Sounds like they have a good system set up to handle the upgrade in an expedient manner. I think I will submit my order after this weekend.

For those who have upgraded to the MB, has long has the turnaround time been? I have really been enjoying my Gungnir, so I hate to give it up. However, it sounds like the upgrade is worth the wait.
