Started with a set of Bose Triports, my first non-earbud headphone. After enjoying them for a couple of years, I learned how over-hyped they are. Stuck with them though, for some reason. Five years later and they finally broke. Now I'm here trying to do it right.

Thanks for the opinions guys. Just worried about outgrowing the HD-595s too quickly. I'd rather get started with the right stuff the first time and not mess around. Any other suggestions for a decent amp/dac to drive these for under $250? Fubar III looks like a good little unit to get me...

Hey guys, new member, long-time lurker here. It's time for a new set of headphones. I have had a set of Bose Triports forever now (at least six years). They finally broke yesterday, which seems to be a somewhat common issue as these get older. I've been lurking around here for a while...
