No, i don't see any way to open up the E5C.

I think i have ruined a pair of Shure e5c due to earwax and me being clumsy. Is there any way to replace the white filter inside the tube, or to send somewhere for repair? I have the E500's now, but I don't just want to throw the E5C's away if it's possible to repair.

Thanks for sharing. I am using my E500 close to eight hours a day, but I prefer and enjoy coming home to my HD-650 after work. The soundstage.. air.. pressure. Cans are better for me, in comparison to E500, even though the latter are great! My setup at home is probably quite bad so I guess...
