    HiFiMan Susvara

Excellent review. Any thoughts of the A90 as a preamp into the Roksan K3? The price of the A90 and power K3 isn't too much more than a gsx-mini.

    HiFiMan Susvara

Highly tempted by the price but it would be insane for me to purchase them blindly as I have yet to demo them. Unfortunately their Christmas sale ends one day before they reopen their stores.

    HiFiMan Susvara

Hi all, greetings from Australia. I was wondering if anyone was willing to disclose what ballpark prices I should be trying to get the Susvaras from dealers for. I understand that as there are only 2 dealers in Australia that I won't have as much room to negotiate but still happy to hear what...

Shanling M1: An iPod Nano Competitor / DAP || USB DAC || USB Transport || Bluetooth 4.0 + aptX || DSD

That looks amazing. Did it have to be custom made or do they have something like this already? Also would you have a link available

Shanling M1: An iPod Nano Competitor / DAP || USB DAC || USB Transport || Bluetooth 4.0 + aptX || DSD

I'll chime in here with my 2c as I have a USB-C DAP(Note 7). All my USB micro B OTG cables that do work with other devices, don't work with my Note 7 when using micro-to-c adaptors as pictured above. The only success I've had with my note 7 is using the Samsung USB C-A OTG adaptor they...

Shanling M1: An iPod Nano Competitor / DAP || USB DAC || USB Transport || Bluetooth 4.0 + aptX || DSD

The first post says it can act as both a USB DAC and transport. There's also a link in the first post that confirms it, albeit in a different language

    Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆

My 2c. Go with the santiago 20i over the 20ii and 10. The 10 is too snug. Also the 20i opens up in a landscape orientation which is less of a hassle as the depth you need to place it in and pull it out is less thab the 20ii. If you plan to stack or carry iems/ciems in the same case , go with the...

Shanling M1: An iPod Nano Competitor / DAP || USB DAC || USB Transport || Bluetooth 4.0 + aptX || DSD

I hope that the UI and hardware are fluid on this one. Your reviews and video on the M2 and M5 have me convinced that these guys have nailed the interface. This would be the ideal one based on size for the mojo, but the M2 and M5 are reasonably compact too. Now I play the waiting game...

    The Upcoming FiiO T3 | Dual SD slot | 3.2 inch full touch screen | Optical/Coaxial/USB digital output | Slim design | APT-X | TYPE C |

I've gone ahead and done measurements based on the latest renders and not the one in the first post.  With a 3.2" diagonal 5:3 aspect ratio(800x480) that makes the screen 70mm x 42mm. Using that as the measurement I zoomed the picture up until the T3 screen matched that size. I...

    The Upcoming FiiO T3 | Dual SD slot | 3.2 inch full touch screen | Optical/Coaxial/USB digital output | Slim design | APT-X | TYPE C |

Their stacking kits are elegant solutions however it does restrict us to using the silicone bands in the pre-fixed location(s) they choose. I've got no background in hardware design or anything so excuse my ignorance but given how close all the hardware buttons on the T3 are clustered...

    Unique Melody Remold Impressions Thread

Just got my impressions done this morning and dropped them off at the UMAUS office. Previously had the Shure SE530 and now going for the UM Miracles. I'm under the impression that there will be an estimated 4-6 week wait before I get them. Hopefully my payment has gone through and that the...
