Yeah, these are really easy to EQ! While they are elevated in the treble, they are not too peaky. The Dekoni elite hybrid pads also do a great job at keep the same sound signature while just dropping the ear gain and up by around 3db. They fill in the 2k dip a bit as well. I am still going back...

Yeah looks like you got the right magnets! Mine you can clearly see the longer magnets from the inside, especially if you take the pads off. There is a green tint to them as well. I'm still pretty bummed I got the stealths as they are very bright, and I didn't find out the magnet was wrong...

Anyone else have there unit stop working intermittently? Mine will display 384 kHz and not play any audio or get recognized by devices. It used to get fixed by unplugging it a few times but now it is stuck. I have been using it with my Windows laptop and andriod phone.

Are the velour pads that everyone loves round and flat? I ordered some from Hifiman's website, but the ones I recieved are angled and flat on the top like the velpads. So I figured I would keep them and use the rings on another pad and ordered another pair of the $10 velours from Hifiman's Ebay...

Anybody have the Oracles and Monarch MkII's here? I adore my Oracles with a copper cable, and the MkII looks like it has many of the things I already know I love. Just wish I could get a custom so it could double for playing live music.
