Yeah. Well I am by no means an audiophile. I just had some cash to spend and was intestered in getting some good cheap headphones and a soundcard to replace my realtek. The sound I am getting from my av710 is good. Its just not quite as punchy as I was expecting. I am just interested in amps...

They recommended that I get one. But I wanted to get the card and listen before I decided to either purchase or build an amp. I am helping my friend build his first cmoy. So I am learning from him and I will probably build one for myself.

They came in today and they sound awesome! This is my first real pair of upgrade phones from stock cans and wow. These things take my breath away. They are comfortable and sound sooooo good. I am very excited. I recommend these cans to anyone looking for both portable and regular listening.

I have the mx400's and for $11 at newegg $15 overall for shipping. They are great lil cheap earbuds that sound much more full than my stock ipod earbuds.
