well hmm got everything wired up as i had planned it to be but it didnt work out the way i planned. i used headpohones to test this time as they dont have their own amp like i the speakers i was testing with does. the volume knob didnt seem to fully turn down the volume to nothing and it slowly...

ok have another question regarding this project. i have a pot here that looks like this: its 50k ohm one though, so would that be ok for a volume knob? also where do i put the left and right and/or ground wires to? im thinking the middle pins are input and the side ones are output...

i am gonna redo the wiring i think instead cause itll be easier almost than dealing with the PCB and everything. plus this way i can incorporate his headphone jack thats already in the case front that switches off the speakers whent he headphones are plugged in. the way i was thinking of doing...

well i opened up my satellite speakers and had a look on the wiring. i was just hoping to find it online somewhere instead so i made a diagram of what i found and i am just hoping this is the way it is for all 2.1 speaker sets.

the speakers im trying to use are self powered as in only the left and right without a sub and has the built in amp inside the left speaker. its a typical speaker set. what im trying to do is have the volume control in the left speaker control the volume of the sub also like a normal 2.1...

got a subwoofer without the satellite speakers but trying to use a set of self powered speakers as satellite speakers but the volume control doesnt control the subwoofer so i need to figure out how i can wire it so that the speakers will work as normal satellite speakers and have the volume...

i have an old radio shack i think 30watt iron but thats not my favorite one as its tethered by a cord what i do like though is my Weller butane iron instead as it heats up much quicker and is portable and dont have to fight a cord sometimes in weird angles. which would you say are better...
