Hey guys, just bought these, been used for a couple of hours, they just feel a little thin and not as heavy on the bass as people had mentioned. Do they need more burn in or could it be the fit? Need to play around with the buds still.

Etymotic mc5 were gonna be an obvious pick but I like my bass, any good suggestions?

I know IEM's are expensive so this may be unlikely but feel using something better than cheap buds for gym would give us a better feel in the gym, have used the HD 25's before but not exactly practical when using a weight bench or other equipment. If you got a suggestion above £80 let us know...

Bought the HD 25's after couple hours I realise they're amazing-ness, kind of hitting myself a little for not trying both before I bought but happy so who cares. Definitely worth it, any idea how long decent burn in takes or are these a pair that burn in pretty quick?

Will the HD 25-1 II or TMA-1 need amping on a rockboxed clip+?

Can I just ask how these cans are so highly rated when people say there's a big chunk of the high end bass and mids missing? Will I really appreciate buying these over the HD 25's?

Recently i broke my ES7's stupidly but felt it would be a good time to upgrade think the tma-1 is a good choice but any other recommendations or comment let us know.

Currently own a clip+ (rockboxed) and a pair of ATH-ES7's looking at a DAC/AMP in one sold by fiio and the TMA-1's. Any recommendations on a amp or a DAP to upgrade to instead? Will the TMA-1's need amp'ing off a clip+?

Been trying to install rockbox using the utility program and it keeps saying this when I click Autodetect: "Sansa Clip+ in MTP mode found! You need to change your player to MSC mode for installation. Until you change this installation will fail."

Right it has now been over a month and I will be rockboxing this at some point in the next week. Although sound is good the extra features do seem appealing.
