We've been exploring the possibility of this feature, but so far we can't get Qobuz to respond to any of our emails requesting API access.

Glider will never automatically select another renderer after the previously selected renderer has gone offline, so you'll have to make the conscious decision to choose your iPhone speaker if you want the sound to come out there. If you do select your iPhone speaker, the volume will...

This is totally a bug introduced in Glider 2.0. Please send me a direct message with your email address so I can get you a beta version to try with a fix. The Poly implements software volume control over MPD and DLNA for all file types other than DSD. You should keep the software volume...

To be fair, that option is only a couple of weeks old :) Prior versions of the app implemented the 'consolidate outputs' feature, but without any way of turning it off.

Thanks! If I understand you correctly, Glider does currently provide this feature. If you navigate to the Glider settings and disable the 'Consolidate Outputs' option, then you should see three outputs for your Poly in the output selector: one for UPnP, another for MPD, and another for AirPlay...

Yes, but the Poly implements the MPD setvol command, allowing Glider to control the volume from 0 up to the current volume set on the Mojo. This works for all formats except DSD.

Once you press play in Glider it will queue up the entire album or playlist on the Poly over MPD, and playback will continue if your phone leaves the network (or even turns off). But you will lose the ability to see what's playing in Glider, skip tracks, change volume, etc.

MPDLuxe is adding the local file path to the stored playlist as opposed to the network address exposed by Poly's DLNA server. The MPD protocol allows for playlists to be built from URI's pointing to a file in the music directory, or using an absolute URI with a supported scheme (like HTTP)...

Yes, but with the missing metadata we have no way of correlating the song files between the DLNA and MPD variants. Although this could work for all songs that are not in MP3, AIFF, DSD or WAV format (since WAV files are also missing some metadata over both DLNA and MPD on the Poly). If there's...

Unfortunately the playlists you create in Glider will not work in GoFigure without a local network connection. Glider uses DLNA to index your song files as opposed to MPD, so only the network address is known to Glider (as opposed to the internal file path exposed over MPD, which GoFigure...

You'd have to ask Chord how this is implemented on their end, but Glider is simply invoking the standard MPD 'setvol' command as documented here: https://www.musicpd.org/doc/protocol/playback_option_commands.html. The audio stream is still playing back directly from the SD card, and is not...

It sounds like Glider is running into some trouble while indexing your library. Please send me a PM so we can investigate further.

Forgetting the other networks is probably the only way to fix it for sure, but you could wait to see if that’s actually what’s going wrong.

It sounds like your phone might be switching away from the Poly network. Next time that happens, check in the iOS settings to ensure you're still connected to Poly's hotspot.
