The thing that drives me nuts with the PX5,is batteries! I have rechargables,nothing like being in the middle of a game and batteries going dead! Thanks for the link! I am going to do this. 

Like I said, I am totally open to all suggestions and want to get the best sound possible. If getting an amp and decent set of headphones are the way to go, then that is what I am going to do. And I will need a mic.This stuff is al new to me. Thanks again. John 

Hailin, thnks for the reply. This higher end headset stuff is all new to me, I am used to taking headset out of package and just hooking it up and using it. Dont want to go completely nuts,but want something better than what I have. What are some of the headphones that do not need an amp? Thanks...
