@twister6    In my case, I'm going to pair it with my HD 598's for gaming. I know the E10K will give me better quality but I would like something that's portable too. So, will I be sacrificing a little or a lot of performance for portability?

Just ordered my V-MODA BoomPro Mic today.. it'll take 1-2 weeks to get here so i decided to jerry rig my own lil modmic together. Took the mic off an old Logitech headset I had laying around and taped her up.. she aint pretty but she works!  lol. http://imgur.com/a/Revqg
