Need helping picking an IEM
I personally wouldn't recommend the Vmoda Zn. The mids feel way too recessed for me even though I tend to lean towards V-shaped gear....- jkim951

Need advice for a DAC/amp to pair with HD 650
Yeah stick with the Yamaha amp and just get a decent DAC.....the HD 650 actually isn't that hard to drive despite its high impedance rating. That $100 little dot amp is a pretty decent deal if you want to go with tubes or you want it to complement your Yamaha amp. I used to own the Dark Voice...- jkim951

Focal Elear - Impressions Thread
I had the exact same rattling problem on the pair that I sold...was kind of scary to hear on an expensive pair of headphones.- jkim951

IEMs (under 80$) buying recommendation
Can’t recommend these enough, I had the FiiO F9 until I upgraded to my Massdrop Plus and Dorados. Plenty of detail and just the right amount of u-shape to have an enjoyable yet still fairly balanced experience.- jkim951

Audeze Mobius Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV
Same here....even if it is enough to power the headphones I’m not so keen on not being able to use your own DAC....Maybe I’m worrying too much, we’ll see when it comes out I guess.- jkim951

Reply to review by 'jkim951' on item 'Campfire Audio CASCADE'
Thanks for the review, it seems like CA stuck with the more "musical" yet detailed approach like the rest of the line up rather than a more "neutral" experience.- jkim951

Campfire Audio - Introducing 2 new models Hello Andromeda and Nova
Oh wow....I've never heard of sugru before. That might actually be what I need haha! It'll probably make resale value a bit better than dremeling but I doubt I'll want to sell them...- jkim951

Campfire Audio - Introducing 2 new models Hello Andromeda and Nova
Anyone know if there's a mod/a way to smooth out the corners of the Andromeda? I tried my friend's pair and although it was comfortable at first, the corners/bumps on the side facing the inside of your ears started making my ears soar....loved the sound though :(!- jkim951

Monolith M300 In Ear Planar Earphones
So I actually checked out these clips (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075K5DRZ9?tag=5336119060-20&th=1) that are mentioned in this comment. If you don't want to mod anything, you can actually buy the .28inch clips and put it on the nozzle that leads to the ear tips (I don't know what you'd call it)...- jkim951
