You only should lowering the rpm just a little. Adding padding to the fan does not work much. What does work is putting foam under the housing instead of on it’s feet. Part of the noise is caused by the resonance of the casing causes by the fan.

You can do that with the current soloist to, put a noctua fan controller between it. To just calm it down just a little. Only thing important don’t put the amp in a cabinet when doing that, because the amp becomes a little warmer.

I have some nat king cole albums in different productions, some are totally awfull. I even have some vinyls, that sound insane amazing, but the digital recording (of that specific album, various of them), my life… a total utter remaster f*ck up

Is it the same production? Because the album might be the same, the production doesn’t have to be. Or it is a remaster of some sort (which is not always a good case)
