Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones
After letting my friend come over to my dorm to listen to some of my headphones, she told me that she couldn't tell a difference in sound quality between my HD650s and her iPod earphones. Needless to say, I kicked her out of my room...- jfiaff

e7 doesn't fit in e9
So my Fiio e9 just came in the mail. I opened it up and tried to dock my e7 on it only to realize that it didn't fit. Upon closer examination, I realized that it has an iPod dock. I definitely ordered the e9, not the e9i. This is what I bought. ...- jfiaff

$200 DAC?
Quote: Haha. That certainly looks portable, but I don't think it's quite what I'm looking for. Have any of you tried the Audinst HUD-MX1? How would that compare to the Zero DAC?- jfiaff

$200 DAC?
I've been giving this a bit of thought, and since I'll be going away to college next year, I was wondering if there are any good portable alternatives to the Zero DAC. It doesn't have to be pocket sized or anything...just a bit less bulky than the Zero.- jfiaff

$200 DAC?
Hey guys. I'm fairly new to all this audiophile stuff so please bear with me. Here is my current setup: FLAC > Creative SoundBlaster Audigy2 ZS (sound card) > ATH-M50s / HD555 Anyways, I've been thinking about getting a decent desktop DAC. What would you guys recommend for me? My...- jfiaff

ATH-M50 Fakes?
