Announcing the Audeze LCD-GX, the First Audiophile Gaming Headphone

Hi everyone. I edited my original post and I mostly downgraded my review of the pair. A few things are disappointing for such an expensive device.

Announcing the Audeze LCD-GX, the First Audiophile Gaming Headphone

Hello, Regarding this question, I tried to take a picture of the 2 headsets side by side but was not able to :( They are too big and I was on my own. But I can tell you that the LCD-GX are almost 3 times deeper than the GSP 500.

Announcing the Audeze LCD-GX, the First Audiophile Gaming Headphone

No worries at all. I use the Sennheiser GSX 1000 to power my headsets. I play mostly PUBG, Escape from Tarkov, Battlefield 5, Apex Legends and Rainbow Six Siege. I think I may be able to hear footsteps slightly earlier with the LCD-GX but I need to do more testing to confirm that. But overall...

Announcing the Audeze LCD-GX, the First Audiophile Gaming Headphone

Hello, Well the GSP 500 is to me a great headset and definitely the best value for the money. I really love them (i used them for about 1 year) and I find them comfortable, clear and with a good build quality. The LCD-GX are a bit heavier, to me it is not a problem but some people complained...

You can if you own the LCD-GX and broke your cable. They will sell you one as a replacement.

Yes indeed, closed back bassy headphones are more tiring for the ears and not the best for gaming long hours. Nice for the Diana V2!! Wish I could try those.

Announcing the Audeze LCD-GX, the First Audiophile Gaming Headphone

Hello, Yes I will keep the Mobius for now. To be frank, I thought about selling them. They are closed-back headphones and although they are fun I prefer to game on open-back headphones like the LCD-GX because I play a lot of competitive games like Apex Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, PUBG...

Announcing the Audeze LCD-GX, the First Audiophile Gaming Headphone

Edit: I have now used them for many weeks and I edited by review. Hello everyone, So I finally received my headset and I got to try it over the weekend. Result: I love them! First, let me clear something out. I did NOT have the problem with the mic that someone mentioned. There is no sound...

Awesome. Thank you for posting. I just ordered mine. Cannot wait. Did you get a chance to test the mic? Do you get the problem where whatever sound/music you are playing it feeds into the mic?

Announcing the Audeze LCD-GX, the First Audiophile Gaming Headphone

Hello again, Just wanted to ask you something please. Do you think it would be possible to plug another mic on the LCD-GX? I have the V-MODA BoomPro that uses a 3.5mm jack but my concern is that it looks like the LCD-GX does not have a 3.5mm port to support it. Am I wrong? or is there like an...

Announcing the Audeze LCD-GX, the First Audiophile Gaming Headphone

Thank you very much for your feedback. I am a PC gamer so I am on Discord with friends most of the time and the mic is always open. For a headset at this price I find it really unacceptable to hear of such problem. I think I will wait until they fix the issue or something better comes along. But...

Is the ASUS Xonar Essence STX II 7.1 too much for headphones?

Man, I said I want to save space and I dont want cables everywhere and my budge is flexible. Coming back to my original post. Which of the 3 options do you think is enough for my purpose and could give me a similar sound experience as the Schiit stack or better? Thank you

Is the ASUS Xonar Essence STX II 7.1 too much for headphones?

Hi and thank you for your message. My Schiit stack is running into problem. It does not always get detected when I plug it in any PCs. It is dying on me. That's why I am looking for a replacement solution and I thought about a sound card because I want to avoid to many cables and I want to save...
