For Christian Genre, one of my favs is Switchfoot "The Beautiful Letdown". It has awwsome bass, a pretty cool message , just an all around great tune (it rock out). Here's the embed to YouTube! <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie"...- jcrawford777

About beliefs and "scientific impotence"
What I don't understand is why so many say you can not define truth. If I don't know the truth about something I set out to understand it. I may not be completely satisfied when I come to an understanding of what the truth about something is but I can certainly attest to the conclusion I have...- jcrawford777

About beliefs and "scientific impotence"
Quote: A frame of reference can hold truth but it can not itself be the definition of truth. Truth is what is real. False is what is not real. I only brought up the color green to give an instance of what truth could be. Again this is all just symantics. You can not have a truth that is...- jcrawford777

About beliefs and "scientific impotence"
Quote: I see the same thing, and I truly believe there are some thing that man should not dig his hands into. ie. just because it exists doesn't mean we should touch it. The whole problem like you say is that mans (or womens) feeling get involves in it, and we are selfish creature by...- jcrawford777

About beliefs and "scientific impotence"
Quote: No, I see your point and I honestly feel and think a lot of the same thing you do, ie. love is a verb and a noun. But when I have studied the Biblical knowledge (rather than scientific knowledge) I have found rather interesting things going on inside me. If I love someone as a noun...- jcrawford777

About beliefs and "scientific impotence"
And there can only be one truth to anything. That is what truth is. There can be an opposite to that truth but that would be false. If you say green is green we can do an empirical study and find out that green really is green, but the shade of green may change between your eyes and my eyes. So...- jcrawford777

About beliefs and "scientific impotence"
I must say that you guys are extremely intelligent. I have only a simple fraction of what you seem to know ( and I say seem because I do not know any of you on a personal level). But I can tell you that before I came to the knowledge that God existed, my truth was my truth because I thought it...- jcrawford777

About beliefs and "scientific impotence"
I ran across your discussion on science here and found it very interesting. I'm a Christian and so it feels like I'm stepping in to a realm very seldom talked about by many people I know who are Christians. So my question is do you believe there is any absolute truth? or is all fiction? or...- jcrawford777

IEM advice posible W2 or UM2
I'm looking for advice on the difference between the W2's and UM2's in SQ & Balance. I listen thru a Sansa Clip+ 4gb. I'm fairly new to IEM's and used to Bose Tri-Ports. Thought they weren't too bad until I used my wife's Shure E2's. Much better SQ, found out just how muddy the Bose were. Now...- jcrawford777

Beautiful female vocals (recommendations)
Britt Nicole, is one of my favorite. If you like Christian music, she's got a knockout voice. Crystal clear, and totally pleasant sound not shrill or too deep.- jcrawford777
