    Most of the new stereo mixes are so hard to listen too with headphones. If you can get the mono mixes I would definitely recommend them.

    Good IEMs and badly encoded music.

    IMO I don't think you could hurt your music experience by upgrading to the RE0's, it may just not be the best return with very low bitrate tracks.

    Brian Eno - Ambient/Pop oriented electronic stuff EDIT: Start with "Another Green World" and move on from there. This has a good combination of electronic tunes and some pop tunes. His later albums are more ambient, example "Ambient 1: Music for Airports"
