Absolute Bluetooth Volume in Android
Is leaving Absolute Bluetooth Volume in Android enabled, as it is by default, innocuous if no blatant audio issues are occurring, or is it detrimental to SQ to have the phone's volume output go down along with the Bluetooth volume? It's more convenient to have it enabled, I guess, which is why...- Jaysound

The TWS + Neckband + BT Cable Adapter Thread
BTW, the AZLA SednaEarfit Crystal Standard is not only the best sound and best comfort in my experience, it also comes with adapter sleeves specifically for fitting to Shure IEM stems.- Jaysound

The TWS + Neckband + BT Cable Adapter Thread
Get the TW2. You'll almost never take them off. And if you do, you just toss them in your pocket. Piece of cake. You can also use the case but it's not needed. I only take it with me when carrying them in my bag to the gym, just to protect them. Shure IEMs with Shure TW2 with Shure PLAY app...- Jaysound

The TWS + Neckband + BT Cable Adapter Thread
I've done hundreds of hours of research and trial-and-error testing over the years and, while I have no experience with some of the items you mentioned, I can tell you where I ended up. I have the Aonic 4 also. For almost all of my daily listening I use the TW2. For cable and a bit better sound...- Jaysound

SHURE CUTS THE CORD: RMCE-TW1 / TW2 - THE TRUE WIRELESS THREAD
Thanks Thanks for the advice. I've been looking at the price of the SE846 and think it will be my next treat for myself as soon as the next infusion of funds comes in. Especially when you mention the BT2. If the SQ of the SE425 compares to the SE846 the way the SQ of the BT2 compares to the TW2...- Jaysound

SHURE CUTS THE CORD: RMCE-TW1 / TW2 - THE TRUE WIRELESS THREAD
:relaxed: SE846 with TW2 should be pretty sweet. From what I've seen, SE846 gets superb reviews and is, as one person here wrote, GOAT (I had to look it up: Greatest Of All Time). And TW2 convenience is just, well, I'll have to say, GOAT. As to SQ, it's not as good as the BTR5 but, as one...- Jaysound

SHURE CUTS THE CORD: RMCE-TW1 / TW2 - THE TRUE WIRELESS THREAD
With the replacement TW2, or with the wished-for TW3 with LDAC?- Jaysound

SHURE CUTS THE CORD: RMCE-TW1 / TW2 - THE TRUE WIRELESS THREAD
Have had Shure TW2 for about six months. Love it. Also have had FiiO BTR5 (it has LDAC) for about two years and loved that except for the nuisance of dealing with the cable and where to clip the device. SQ of BTR5 is amazing and I sure noticed the relative decrease in SQ with the TW2 when I got...- Jaysound

Best IEM tips?
I love the I find the word "relative" very interesting. I've wondered about that. Does reducing treble with EQ essentially increase bass, in that one can then increase volume a bit to bring it back to the same overall volume level and that means more bass? Or is it just seeming to increase...- Jaysound

Best IEM tips?
SpinFit CP100+ blew me away with the clarity of the mids and highs but I agree they have almost no bass. I tried the AZLA SednaEarfit Light and Crystal Standard and am very happy with both, though I do sometimes want to boost treble with EQ a bit using those after hearing what's there in my...- Jaysound

Best IEM tips?
The verdict is in. To use AZLA SednaEarfit Light (or I guess any other AZLA) with Shure SE IEMs (or I guess any others with the same narrow nozzle as the SEs), buy a set of AZLA SendaEarfit Crystal Standard and use the adapters that came with it. I did that and that's the way to go. (Added perk...- Jaysound

Best IEM tips?
Just do it! This is much a more common need than one might guess. AZLA sells a size assortment pack and says on the Amazon page it helps to accommodate differently sized L-R ears: --- Begin quote --- Detail adjustment This makes it easier to adjust detail when the size is different between...- Jaysound

Best IEM tips?
I was wrong. The 1/8" I.D. tubing is simply too wide to fit on the stem of a Shure SE. Back to using the 3/32" ID x 3/16" OD "fuel line" I picked up. Unless I can find the same in silicone which would be greatly preferred because the hard plastic of the fuel line makes it a bit difficult to...- Jaysound

Best IEM tips?
Then again, that's a very tight fit on the IEM nozzle, probably too tight (might break the nozzle trying to remove it). Looks like assassin10000 had it exactly right with 1/8" I.D. This is apparently the way to go: 1/8" I.D. 3/16" O.D. Probably silicone is best. Here...- Jaysound

Best IEM tips?
I found a solution for putting the AZLA SednaEarfitLight onto the Shure SE425 IEMs (or any other Shure SE IEMS, or any other IEMS with the same width of nozzle). Soft plastic tubing that measures 3/32" I.D. x 3/16" O.D. fits perfectly. This works fine...- Jaysound
