    Y'all might want to try this inexpensive USB noise isolator The EF400 is fantastic for the money. If you are getting noise with this, you probably have a problem that would affect other DACs, and you should get an isolator IMO...

    I wanted red, got red, and I'm glad I did. I'm sure many people would prefer the subtler colors, but I knew I'd always regret it of O didn't get what I really wanted at this pricepoint. Definitely avoid the Zebrawood due to deterioration over time

    Introducing the HIFIMAN EF400 Balanced Desktop DAC/Amplifier!

    To me the EF400 is sounding FANTASTIC. Anybody else having an issue with the balanced line out (XLR)? I think it's "hot" and causing downstream distortion with my cheap hybrid amps (testing), and I don't see a way to lower its level.

    Thanks for the review. You REALLY should try the Loxjie P20 balanced hybrid amp for $100. I use it with balanced headphones, with the Khadas Tone2 (balanced) serving as DAC. I wouldn't be surprised if you liked it even more
