Thanks for sharing your impressions. The streaming issue was mentioned in the Bloom Audio review too. Wonder if a firmware update could resolve. Was looking forward to buying this but hitting pause for now.

Regarding the comfort... I tested these for nearly an hour yesterday at a local shop and agree they are very comfortable... But felt very warm on my ears after only about 10 minutes. Do you experience this sensation?

The Sarda is my favorite for travel and always in my backpack. As you said, super comfortable to wear for hours and great noise insulation on flights. It's a lot of fun with movies or music.

The 1000T seems to be going for $600 off at several retailers right now. Not sure if it's a special promotion or if on its way out already. I have the non-T version and go long periods without listening to it, but every time I do I love it. I don't understand why it never seemed to catch on.

Well seems like interest in the Luxman is dead, but I did end up buying it and absolutely love it. I've been through many headphone amps and this beats them all (for me). Built like a tank and just does something magical to the sound!

I too have both the Szalayi and Evo. When doing a direct comparison it's true that the Szalayi sounds a bit muffled but again that's only if I do a direct A/B. If I start a listening session with the Szalayi it's fantastic and I am carried away by it's performance... Especially paired with AK...

I've been listening to the ZE8000 for the past couple of days. They do sound great but the physical design is a bit problematic when laying down with head on a pillow... Ymmv but just calling out as something I didn't think about before getting them.
