You can use the latest firmware with Mango, just use Lurker add-on, that is what I am doing. Guides are out there.

They should be good with any source, however, in my case, I notice that my iBasso DX150 with Amp8 is the best one I have due to the power of the Amp8. Isolation is not ideal for a bus IMO, these are best when you are focusing on the music, they are not bad though for isolation, just not ideal...

This is like opening a Pandora's Box. I respect that very much, but the fact is that FIIO software is one of the worse that I have ever tried. I really hope they are paying more attention to it now, they are an outstanding hardware manufacturer.
