Finally, I bought a C1100C+T so my system contains: CD MCT500 DAC D1100 PRE C1100C+T POW MC462 The sound is so much better than using D1100 only (as DAC + PRE). By the way, my speaker is Sonus Amati Tradition and cables are Nordost Valhalla 2 and Tyr 2. Everything seems perfect now :wink:

If you switch off C1100 and use D1100 as a pre-amp and DAC, what do you feel about your system? Thanks for your sharing!

Hi everyone! I am using D1100 and MC462 to drive Sonus Faber Amati. I know that D1100 is a pre-amp but I wonder the pre-amp is good enough or not? Is there any better result if I add one more pre-amp (such as C53, C2700, C500, C1100...) before Power-amp MC462 and make D1100 to be a DAC only...
