thanks for your advice wavoman would you please recommend an LOD for my iPod Touch? as well.. I have been messing around with the preamp setting in iTunes EQ.. just a small nudge as well as have brought the mids and highs settings up as well.. this seems to have brought the music alot more...

I should be more clear about how I am perceiving the music I am hearing.. seems to lack life without activating the itunes EQ.. mid and highs seem muted and the bass seems 'boomy' for lack of a better word.. but this is not happening all the time perhaps my gear is showing up the shoddy...
