I'm spending 50% of what I spend on my HP on my amp/dac, which I've heard is a sensible target. That is about £90-100 now, so I'm happy to pay a little more. But I do not want to end up spending more on an amp/dac than what I did on my headphones.

Sounds brilliant, thanks so much. I'm also interested in the sound quality, if you have any experience with these amps.    113db is similar to a 747 taking off at a range of 50m. I think I'd like to avoid permanent hearing loss within 4 minutes of listening, so i'll keep the volume low. :)

It's all in the title. I'll be using these primarily at home, so sound leaking doesn't matter. As impressed as I was by my Senns, I found their bass slightly lacking and I am looking for something a little more punchy now. My budget is fairly strict, perhaps I can go £20 over if necessary.  ...
