They sound very open. It's almost as if I am hearing the band play in the room with me. I just bought fleetwood mac rumors and a yamaha yph 311 turntable. I hope I am in store for some good quality sound. The highest quality I have ever heard is my ad 700's through my computer.

How does the 009 sound? I'd imagine something along the lines of having the artist/musician in the same room as you.

Is there some kind of converter cord for them? I would like to use them with my computer until I can afford a nice amp. Or can you not do that with electrostatic headphones? If this won't work, could you recommend a good over the ear pair for me? I have mdr v6 headphones now...
