I appreciate the comment on cord noise, if it's portable use that I want then cord noise is important. Wish more reviews commented on this. Thanks.- jagathon

Audio-Technica ATH-M50 vs Shure SRH750DJ & SRH840
The ATH - M50 have great detail and deep realistic bass, making this a fun headphone, one of my new favorites. They are easily driven , sound great right out of my headphone jack on my Mac. Drawbacks are they are tight, which makes them nicely cut out background noise, but fatigue of this sets...- jagathon

If No One Uses EQ, Why The Desire For Players With Custom EQ?
I love my settings for EQ on my Sony. I like to change the low end on older recordings. Try it on an iPod and it is distortion city!- jagathon

Jumping into minidisc--should I get a home recorder?
Yes, recordings improves on a home deck, but the playback sound quality in a home deck is the big plus for me. Using an optical out or even analog RCA connector outs on a home deck beats hooking up the headphone out on a portable.- jagathon

Sony s4xxx
I have 5 Sony players and my E438F is my least favorite. The boot up time is slow, low playback volume and SQ is not as detailed and warm as my other Sony models. The E438F has 5 EQ and is missing Clear Bass which is all the difference if you enjoy a bottom punch to your music. The A728 is worth...- jagathon

Singlepower's Colorado Summer Meet - 7.26.08
Things are working out for me to come, thanks to Asr for all your time and work on this! So many headphones are going to be there that I have that I hate to repeat, but looking through the list I thought I'd bring my wooden Audio-Technica ATH-ESW9s with my Sony A818, they make a great combo.- jagathon

Do you think you could blindly tell which Grado is which?
I remember when I moved up from my 60's to the 225's and I thought I almost liked the 60's better! I could hardly tell any difference between the two. I kept the 225's and like the Grado sound, but haven't really worried about another Grado model since my experience with these two.- jagathon

Good portable headphones?
iGrados would probably stay on better. Sound wise I prefer the PX 100's and I find that they stay on for me just fine.- jagathon

I really like my Audio-Technica ATH-A900 Headphones
I had a similar experience with my ATH-A700s. I was disappointed at first and then their detail and deep realistic bass grew on me. I use mine for editing music from my computer. They are easy to drive and really let me concentrate on the details of the music.- jagathon

Hey, HeadRoom, you need to ....
I wanted to ask that someone work on your web page, its time consuming to click on a headphone and read about it and then hit the back button and you always return to the top of the list. So if I'm looking at Grado 225s and hit return I'm at Sennheisers and no longer looking at the Grado list I...- jagathon

Do you hear the difference? A test
I got it right, the lower bit rate sounded flat, all the depth of the music was lost.- jagathon
