Dude, I'm like at -45db TOPS with my CIEMs. Normally around -50db though.

Lets, see... soundwise there is a difference in imaging. 225 has a "better" separation than the 80 due to difference in pads and stuff. I'll skip the tonality part because I don't remember too well and because grados are grados, but you should know that the 225 has a 1/4" plug so using it...

So I went ahead a bought a 26awg SPC cable from Ted at HPL and I have to say its pretty good with the C4's yo. Lol it took me a week to figure out I had the pins fitted backwards. :P   The vocals seem "bigger" (correct term?), the bass seems a slightly less forwards, and the treble picks up...
