New Cans beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO / 80

Great headphone, i've had mine for months. I use mine for mostly PC gaming which is very good. The bass provides good explosion sounds and the closed factor makes hearing things around you a lot easier, you become submersed in the game. They are ok for music but as stated many times they are...

    Better Positioning... DT-770/80 (w/ amp) or ATH-A900?

I play BF2 competitively and use the Beyer 770/80s on my machine. They have very good positioning and I can hear everything around me. While they are expensive they are worth the cash for a gamer. They isolate well and have nice bass for explosions or gunfire. They are quite comfortable once...

Thanks for the suggestion on the DT-770's

Awesome gaming headphones thats for sure. I've had mine for awhile and they sound better the more you use them. Really immerses you in FPS games, especially Battlefield. I haven't bought an amp they are running pretty well off a x-fi soundcard......Enjoy.

    Best Gaming Headphones

I have the Beyer 770/80s and I use them for gaming and I can tell you first hand they are excellent. I mostly play FPS games like BF2, DOD, FEAR and all the rest (I have alot of games) and the soundstage and detail is very good. They are closed cans with alot of bass and you can hear it in the...

Has anyone tried the Phillips HDD1630???

The photo quality is alright nothing to really write home about, maybe mostly cause the screen is so small, like on a newer cell phone. No freezing as of yet but i'll keep an eye out. The sound is very clear and it's pretty loud at higher volumes. I work in a busy office and it blocks out most...

Has anyone tried the Phillips HDD1630???

I picked one up yesterday and it's great. Very easy to transfer music to using WMP 10, effortless even. The sound quality is great and i'm satisfied with it. I don't own any other DAP so I can't compare it to any others. The build is very good and it's a very good looking player. The headphones...

Movies and games: Beyer or AT?

While I don't watch too many movies with headphones I do play games with my Beyer DT770/80s and they are awesome. They seal your ears quite nice and have some great bass and good highs. The mids are somewhat recessed at times but they are there. I primarily bought them for pc gaming and the AT...

    The Beyer Blues

I use the Beyer 770/80s mostly for PC gaming and they are great. Big soundstage and very accurate 3D positioning. They seal out pretty well although you can still hear outside noises at times. They have alot of bass and great for games like Battlefield 2 where the explosions come to life. For...

    recommended serious gamer headphones?

I second the Beyer DT770/80s for gaming. I've been using mine for a few weeks now and they are awesome in FPS games. Once they break in they sound a lot better and they get more comfortable. The mids are a little recessed and the highs are prominent and they are loaded with bass. They sound...

    Tampa Florida meet, Nov 19th

I would like to try and stop by and listen to a few different phones and amps. I can't find a real audio store down here that actually carries anything that I could try out before I bought it. All I have are Beyerdynamic DT770s I could bring and you guys can laugh at, I know they aren't as good...

    Best headphones....

Spend an extra $10 and get the Radioshack Pro 35a Headphones ($19.99). They have alot of bass and generally sound alot better then stock headphones.

    Gaming Headphones

Seems when looking for gaming headphones you can't have your cake and eat it too. Either gaming or music but not both without repercussions. I'm still trying to decide which ones to pick up myself and after a couple of weeks of reading here I've gotten nowhere. The ATH-A900s are the most...
