For Sale, price dropped to $3,000 excluding shipping. Stock wood choice, magnesium frame upgrade, both stock lambskin and cowhide thin pads, as well as 6.35mm and 4 pin XLR cables. Barely used at all, just tested and they weren't to my liking at all. They had some very minor cosmetic only...- ISOLordByron

Comment by 'ISOLordByron' on listing 'Audeze LCD-2.2 PF'
No, this version does not have the fazor. I've owned several and even opened some to confirm, 53x serials are 2.2 fazor style chassis but are 2.1 style drivers with a slightly different tensioning to them. The specific picture I posted may maybe make it seems like there are points there but it'...- ISOLordByron

Comment by 'ISOLordByron' on listing 'Audeze LCD-2.2 PF'
https://forum.hifiguides.com/t/audeze-lcd-2-pre-fazors/17646 From the audeze website: ‘Any LCD-2s with serial number starting with 54 or higher should have Fazors. Any starting with 53 (and a few starting with 56 from the early days) will be a pre-Fazor model unless the drivers were serviced...- ISOLordByron

Selling my nicest 2.2PF because I have a few and I'd rather not put miles on the nicest of them. Only thing this is missing is the original measurement card. Has the box, the case, the protective bags, the leather conditioner kit and cloths, and the balanced and SE cables, and the 3.5mm adapter...- ISOLordByron

A Stax SRM-T1W in decent condition, in fully working order with brand new NOS tubes. This is a Japanese voltage version, and I believe it can be changed internally, but I just use it with an external stepdown with no issues. See pictures for cosmetic condition. Definitely open to trades and...- ISOLordByron

Perun electrostatic headphone impressions
Mine have just shipped and I'm very excitedly awaiting them! Hopefully I got them late enough to dodge the shipping hell :P I'll absolutely be posting impressions of it not long after I get it, alongside some comparisons to various other TOTL headphones like K1000, HE-1000, Lambda Signature...- ISOLordByron

Show us your Head-Fi station at it's current state. No old pictures please...
All 3 K1000's are different versions, yes. Different serial ranges had slight silent revisions differences that lead to slightly different tonal changes due to mechanical differences. The big one in the middle is a Jecklin Float Model 2 Electrostatic, the can on the far right is a Peerless...- ISOLordByron

@Jacobal ??? It HAS to be a DAC, it's converting digital signal into analog signal to drive your transducer.- ISOLordByron

Zmfestivus II Meet Impressions
Not at the meet, but I have in the past. Empyrean isn't terribly demanding and the Atom is sonically a really kick-ass little amp. Sounds good together, much better than you'd expect.
