yep they are great for gaming. but as you just said. you owned the 50 ohm. i got the 120 ohms. and i think i recall reading it hear that if u have the higher version. u will need to use a headphone amp.. i hope they are wrong cuz headphone amps costs alot here..

gaming headphones... PC series by sennheisers the HD-595/555 are also commonly used for gaming. icemat siberia / steel sound 5h but i personally use the 595's

i checked out a few headphones amplifiers yesterday. and damn they cost alot! the cheapest i found was almost 7,000 in pesos not sure how mush that is in dollars. but the ones available was those tube like amps that costs 20,000! ;( no amps for me. hehe. besides iam going to use the hphones...
