Is there anyone who can shine a conclusive light on the X1 vs X2? In the Netherlands the X1 available for 189 and X2 for 299 EUR.

I have always only had j cords, and thinking about it I would prefer it this way. Also the headphones I had were single wired. Less hassle with cables is better for me. My desk is already too cluttered.

Depends what you want to use it for. If it's just a something to work out with in the gym I would get the clip+ I don't care that much for cover art and stuff.

At this price point I would recommend any offering of Q-Acoustics. In particular the new 2020i, which gets a good review from what-hifi. At work we sell these a lot to people. I too would recommend to stretch the budget a little bit and get better gear. $300 would only barely  cover the...

I have a grand total of 3792 songs. To be honest I  have just copied the whole music library from my work. I work in an Electronic department store which also has a music department.
