Wireless HiFi Audio with DAC+aptX Bluetooth Amp BTR1 is Available
Good review, thanks for that. Which cables are you using with your Shures? I have struggled to find a good, reasonably priced, short cable to use with my Shures and an older Sony bluetooth adapter. The new Fiio short MMCX1s cable looks interesting but it hangs straight down in the product... -
Shure SE535: Reviews and First Impressions Thread
Quote: But I hear it even with the cable disconnected. It could be the jack for the cable, but that would still require repair/replacement of the earphone itself.- imn8

Shure SE535: Reviews and First Impressions Thread
Quote: Mine arrived on this date too! :D First impression, after listening to just two songs, is that they sound great. Very warm to my ears. But the left side has a rattle if I lightly tap on it. I removed the cable and the tip to verify that its coming from within the earphone...- imn8

Upgrading from E4C to either SE530, TF10, or Westone 3
I am also considering the upgrade from E4C to SE530, or maybe even the SE535 when they are available. My question is about positioning them in your ears. With the E4C, I am "lazy"... I stick them straight in my ears like basic earbuds, without wrapping the cable over my ears. So I think I end up...- imn8

uneven seal between left and right ear
I have a noticeable difference between my two ears. With Shure tips, a medium fits my right ear, but my left ear wants something between a medium and a small (medium is uncomfortable, and small doesn't seal). My solution is to use the triple flange tips, which just "magically" slide in until...- imn8

Can anyone verify this website for me?
resellerratings.com has no feedback for them. So they appear to be too new to have a reputation one way or the other.- imn8

SRH840 impression
I received my SRH840 headphones yesterday. I had ordered them from RMA for $129 (they matched their own price from a few months ago) on Friday and they arrived very quickly. Out of the box, I was not immediately impressed. But I kept listening and decided they sounded pretty nice. Then I...- imn8

The EX71 thread -- intrigued by Sony EX71s -- what do you know about them?
Apparently I'm the only one, but I find the E3c more comfortable than the 71. The 71 was too big for my left ear, and caused discomfort after wearing for 10 minutes. On the Shures, the piece that enters your ear is narrower, and I haven't had any problems with them. ps - The sound is way...- imn8
