    I love the warm and smooth sound signature of these phones. The upper region is also well-refined, but not emphasized in any way. These sound very smooth and relaxed, but not too laid-back.     Like many others on this site, these phones are my stepping stone into the realm of "hi-fi"-headphones. These are indeed a good pair of phones for beginners and old-timers alike, because of their price/value ratio and ability to play all kind of music well.
