Admittedly it's an HBB graph, so unlikely to fully reflect anyone else's measurements, but I think overall balance has strayed into mudcannon territory :frowning2: The mid treble shelf seems to have been replaced with a resonance peak, boosting the bass is just adding distortion and the mids...

On the assumption this was released to promote discussion...I really hope this isn't the finalised tuning.

I used a Cyanoacrylate adhesive (usually referred to as "superglue") which requires only a very thin film. Just went back to the set I glued (was about a year ago) and tried really hard to pull the nozzles off both the one I fixed and the one with original factory glue...neither came off, fwiw.

If you dig deep enough you will find QC issues with every set on the market, glue related or otherwise. E.g. this has happened to several people's s12s You could get a 3d printed set (but even those could use glue for the connectors). On the plus side it will be fine if you glue it back...

The 5k works very well as a mic when hung from the neck. I have it paired with my laptop and phone and it will switch seamlessly between the 2 sources (just remember to switch off music on the phone before launching a call/WebEx/etc from the laptop - nasty crackling sounds will ensue before the...

I had to file mine down a little (a very, very little, just on each vertex). Also you have to insert them dead straight - I think Beyer must use a machine to get them on and the tolerances are just too tight for hand fitting. GL!

I would be very wary of used Xelentos because of all the fakes out there.

Question please - has the tuning changed from the demo version that was at Canjam London in July? This graph "looks" like it has had the bass boosted a bit. Also congrats on getting this far and good luck with launch!

No free shipping to UK below $300 from Hifigo, but taxes are pre-paid. I think it's free over $100 to Asia & USA. @Sebastien Chiu Just by way of a heads up - Hifigo still have Ultra listed but the option defaults to the OG SA6. Seems like a trap for the unwary...
