Just a thought but the antenna is part of the rear cover (someone will correct me if i'm wrong) there is a chance that if your unit had its battery replaced the antenna might not be plugged in properly. There is a sticker over one of the two screws to get the back cover off so its pretty easy...

I playback local Amazon Music content. Wifi is on, but not connected to anything (yes i know i should just turn it off) but no popping etc on Amp1mk2 or Amp9. My firmware was the latest iBasso, i switched to the latest Lurker.

If you are outputting via SPDIF to another DAC i think SPDIF has bit rate limitations. So depending on your setup / source files maybe you are losing resolution?

For the record i only NEED a 2 hr runtime. I love the unit esp the Amp9. do i think my current use and runtime is low for a high dollar unit? yes. but i'm still happy with it.

Frankly i think either number is absurdly low. I have yet to reach out to iBasso for their $0.02 .

Does anyone know if the Fiio Link application will allow you to control the playback of streaming services (e.g.; Amazon Music) via the Link app? Or is the control only limited to the playback of local media? Thanks!

It would be nice if you could isolate the battery / charging system for folks that wanted to use it as a DAC in a non portable system. So it wouldn't ruin the battery.
