Creative Sound Blaster new series Z, Zx & ZxR

How many of you guys use the surround effect in the sound blaster control panel? I have tried it out a few times and I just found that makes the audio sound weird to me.

Creative Sound Blaster new series Z, Zx & ZxR

Excuse my ignorance, but are you saying the SB-Z has a low noise floor and therefore should be ok to be double amped?      Ah ok thanks! Given the o2, Magni, or FiiO E09K, what would be the best choice?

Ah I thought that would have caused a problem like propagating noise or something.    I will play with the HRTF and see if I can live with/without it. Would a FiiO E09K be a good choice for DT990 250ohm?

Creative Sound Blaster new series Z, Zx & ZxR

I have question in regards to this. I have a sound blaster Z and am having a set of DT 990 250ohm premiums delivered today. I have seen some say an amp isn't necessary and the built in one will be just fine while others say an amp really helps. My concern is losing the headphone HRTF when I...

DT 770 Pro left side problem

Well it looks like it is the headphones after all. I am probably just going to send them back for repair as they are still under warranty.

DT 770 Pro left side problem

I don't think it is EMI, as there isn't any source around it that could be causing it. Edit: Well, I put a large peice of anti static plastic that I believe has anti EMI properties and folded it many times and put it ontop of my soundcard (my soundcard is right beside a video card). I am not...

DT 770 Pro left side problem

No, i don't play music loud anything for that matter. It starts to make this bad 'sound' around 25hz and ends at about 150hz-200hz.

I actually did take the ring out and the foam pad out and put it back togeather, but I still have that problem.

DT 770 Pro left side problem

On my DT 770 Pro 80ohms, when there is a lot of bass in the sound I hear crackling on the left side. This happens when there is a lot of bass and never occurs on the right side. What would be the cause of this?

Super budget Amp for dt770 80 ohm suggestions?

I am going to bump this to hopefully have someone answer my previous question. Can someone explain to me how this one: http://www.americanmusical.com/item....00BEH%20HA400# doesn't look good for $20. It seems to fit my needs having a small amp with DC adapter for the DT770 80ohms.

Super budget Amp for dt770 80 ohm suggestions?

I would like something where I can plug a DC adapter in my will into the amp so I don't have to worry about batteries. I would like to know what the effect of having Output Impedance: 47 Ohms per channel on that amp I liked would have on the DT770 80ohm. Would it benefit it at all. I am really...

Super budget Amp for dt770 80 ohm suggestions?

Is this the kind of amp you were talking about: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-ART-HEADAMP-...QQcmdZViewItem On the specs, it says Output Impedance: 47 Ohms per channel I know the DT770s are 80 Ohms, would that amp not be powerful enough at 47 Ohms to drive those DT770s well?
