Hmm.. sounds about right. I have 1700xp oc'd to 2ghz (mb says I have a 2400xp). I get ~35% playing mp3s when I resample to 96khz, resampling thread priority set to highest, and using the sse asio plugin. I get ~25% when playing APEs. But I prefer bit-perfect sound so I don't usually resample.

You don't want to use 'Direct DMA Buffer I/O' in ASIO4ALL. Then set Buffer Size to 2048, KS buffer to 2. Works for 44.1-96khz. I can resample to 192khz if I set KS buffer to 4, but the card may not actually be able to output 192khz (heh, at least in the sample rate section of the via panel it...

In hi-sample rate mode you need to set the asio plugin to resample to 96khz, as that mode only allows 96khz.

Bit-perfect with a stock AV-710 is possible. Flashing is not necessary.
