av-710 problems w/asio + winamp
Never heard of that problem before. Maybe you accidentally shifted output channels in the ASIO plugin cp? Or pcm spdif on the source tab is unlinked and one side is toned down. Make sure all volume sliders are at max. What sliders are used when you use ASIO4ALL/KS in 2ch mode: SPDIF out to...- Igthorn

av-710 problems w/asio + winamp
Hmm.. sounds about right. I have 1700xp oc'd to 2ghz (mb says I have a 2400xp). I get ~35% playing mp3s when I resample to 96khz, resampling thread priority set to highest, and using the sse asio plugin. I get ~25% when playing APEs. But I prefer bit-perfect sound so I don't usually resample.- Igthorn

In hi-sample rate mode you need to set the asio plugin to resample to 96khz, as that mode only allows 96khz.- Igthorn

96tin / 4silver solder with 1% flux
I used 96t/4s solder for my first 2 amps. It wasn't too hard to use, but I had been using it for a few years on small soldering tasks. This is with a cheap 15w ratshack iron. Heh, with my worn out tip it was easier to work with then the 63/37 solder I'm using now with the spanking brand new tip...- Igthorn
