Sennheiser HD 490 Pro Plus coming?
Fit is snug and soft. Although its clamp is not as strong as the HD600/650, it might survive a backflip because it weigh relatively less and thus the inertia probably won't snatch it from your head.- IdleTalk

Sennheiser HD 490 Pro Plus coming?
I'm in love with my HD490pro but I had my disappointment like yours when I first heard it. The P-pads sounded veiled and boomy for me at first listen but as soon as I get it, it provides a very thorough perspective over the whole soundscape. Is the pinout topology of HD490pro compatible to that of ZMF's, when it's doubled to each cup of L & R?- IdleTalk

As a proud owner of Beyer T1, which cans am I missing?
Closed cans are mostly "for-purpose" rather than for "pure fidelity". If you want different approach to pure fidelity, try planar-magnetic then later electrostatic.- IdleTalk

Optical vs USB
1) USB 2.0 or better 2) galvanic isolation 3) asynchronous transmission 4) proper shielding or distance between built-in usb interface and analogue circuit Above conditions met, USB is better than S/PDIF.- IdleTalk
