Does anyone know if the HE-560 cups are compatible with the HE-400i drivers/connectors? Planning on picking up a set of the wood veneer cups to replace the shiny plastic ones on the HE-400i. If so, is any soldering required? or just simple detach/replace procedure.

Was reading through previous posts in this thread - saw that high gain mode was recommended, does this still hold true for the Fidelio x2s?

Picked up the Fidelio x2 and I'm loving them for gaming/music. I've been looking into an Amp/DAC setup though it's not needed, I'm still wondering if I can push just a little more out of them. Does anyone have recommendations on what Amps/DACs have a sound signature that compliments the x2s?   ...
