Sometimes good enough is just that. Not everyone has the budget or cares to spend above a certain amount on audio equipment. As long as you enjoy what you have.

I can only speak on the K11 R2R. It does have a softer sound than my Schiit Modi Multibit 2 which is more detailed. That's probably why I like the K11 R2R. FiiO announced a 40% price increase on May 1st if that will help you with your decision. Good luck.

You can open them up with a heat gun. Just be careful.

The only bad thing about this album is that it's only 35 minutes long. A song or two more would have been nice.

And you're entitled to your opinion. I used mine with an Emotiva BasX A-100 yesterday. I put the jumpers in and got 50 watts to the headphone jack. They were sounding pretty good for my four to five hour listening session.
