could you recommend a flat sounding closed headphones for mixing and mastering music? 

so I bought my m50x for 200 limited edition.   what other headphone would you buy with that money, or even say $150 ontop of that?   so for $200 what headphones would you buy?   for $350 which ones?

I own the ath-m50x.   If these are not king, what would you say would be better?   I think I might return mine for the blue mofi headphones, those sound amazing.

I mean, I went to the store and I tried 80 headphones.   The audio technica sounded the best to my ears... only the blue mofi sounded better.   but all the other headphones did NOT sound $300 or so better then the audio technica.   interestingly I came here and found others who said it was...

I want a closed headphone, flat response for mixdown and mastering.

I want to get these blue headphones but was wondering, is the the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab' thats been around since the 1977 or are they just using the mofi name?   Thanks in advance

I cant stop thinking about the mofi blue. They sounded better to my ears then any other headphones. I tried 80 headphones top of the line.   But am I being fooled? For example, is the great sound quality the result of the built in amp?   someone said to stay away from them because they dont...

I listened to 80 headphones at bnh in nyc and these were the best sounding by far.   listen to many headphones.   is it the amp that really makes the head phones sound that good?   I would like to listen to them with another source like in a mixing studio

    I listened to 80 headphones with amps and other stuff today at BnH in NYC.   the only one that sounded better then the m50x was the mofi blue. I might get them and return these....   mofi company is no joke when it comes to audiophile...its maybe one of the best companies in the world...

why ignore. I think I am going to return them.   Im reading about the mofi blues, and everything about them is all anolog, nothing digital but the usb charger for the built in amp.   They are heavy, weighing a pound, and they do look funny....but the sound coming out of them DOES justify...

I bought the m50x.   I tried over 80 headphones at B&H in NYC today. I tried out every high end headphone they make. The best one, and I think I might go back and get it, because it sounds THAT good is the mofi blue.   All the other headphones, I could not justify spending that kind of money...

I just bought these headphones and let me explain why   For the price nothing was better.   And every other headphone model I tried...( and I tried over 80 in the store) that was more expensive, to me, it didnt sound a couple of hundred dollars better.   do all the other expensive models...
