MASSIVE MASSDROP MADNESS: UERM Holiday Super Sale
Got mine today as well. Coming from 3 years with JH16s, these UERMs have wayyy more detail. The bass isn't as strong of course (by design), but I had no idea I was missing out on so many details in the music. These puppies will be on my ears all weekend.- hp300plus

MASSIVE MASSDROP MADNESS: UERM Holiday Super Sale
I'd be surprised as well. There's a few folks in that drop that can't seem to get over themselves even though Massdrop has apologized and has done as best as they can given some unfortunate (and quite personal) events.- hp300plus

Fulla (by) Schiit - News, photos, thoughts, impressions, etc.
You're welcome. At 18 ohms, the JH16 IEMs aren't at all difficult to drive so there's plenty of room to spare with both the Fulla and the Dragonfly. Seemed like the same output from both (can only get to about 15% max volume before it's ear splitting on both, but I suspect the Fulla has...- hp300plus

Fulla (by) Schiit - News, photos, thoughts, impressions, etc.
Regarding the Dragonfly comparison: I've have a v1.2 for about 6 months now and spent the last 3 days listening to the Fulla exclusively (via JH16s) and then last night switched back to the Dragonfly v1.2. (I've tried A/B testing real-time and have found that practice ineffective unless there...- hp300plus

Schiit Hits the Fan! Valhalla 2, Lyr 2 announced, Wyrd and Mani Previewed.
Chiming in here to agree with darinf. I've had Wyrd for 24 hours now and notice a subtle 'calming' of high frequencies. I'm using a DragonFly v1.2 with JH16s and Starlight USB. Previously had the DragonFly plugged directly into the back of my iMac (Late 2013).- hp300plus

AudioQuest Dragonfly Review : Affordable, Outstanding, Tiny DAC / Amp
I realize your E17 worked fine, but might be worth a shot to try plugging the DF into an external powered USB hub if you have one around. Clicks and pops on USB audio devices often are a result of bad / limited power transmission which a powered USB hub might fix.- hp300plus

NEW - Schiit Asgard 2
Quote: From the Lyr page on the Schiit website: up to 6 watts into 32 ohms I'm not an electrician, but doing some simple math, I believe it comes out to 312.5 mW. 6000 mW (6 watts) / 32 ohms = 187.5 mW 187.5 mW * 600 ohms = 0.32125 Watts or 312.5 mW.- hp300plus

NEW - Schiit Asgard 2
Quote: Did you have the Asgard 1 before? If it's anything like that (and frankly all of Schiit's products), give it a good burn in period and see if things open up a bit. I've had and sold Asgard 1 and Lyr, and am currently using Magni and Mjolnir; they've all required a solid 100 hour...- hp300plus

This Schiit is Bananas! $99 Schiit Magni Amp and $99 Modi DAC
Quote: A+ with the M&M combo. For what it's worth I have the Gungnir and Mjolnir combo too and have the same issue with the JH16s. As has been mentioned by others, A+'s MBIT volume dither works very well.- hp300plus

This Schiit is Bananas! $99 Schiit Magni Amp and $99 Modi DAC
Quote: Using with JH16 here and dead silent which was/is impressive. Only problem (which many have confirmed) is the volume at anything before 8/8:30 position -- you get channel imbalance, which unfortunately for the low ohm headphones/iems like our JH16s, anything above 8:30 gets quite...- hp300plus
