    Cowon Plenue D

Is anyone using .m3u playlists on the PD? I can't get it to work. Tried using both regular m3u as well as extended m3u. Stored them in the root folder of the device, in the "playlists" folder and in the "music" folder but to no avail. Any hints? Thanks.

I own a D2+ which I like, except for the missing gapless playback. It has enough power to drive my Sennheiser HD25-II headphones (70 ohm). The PD should even have a bit more. I also own a Fiio X1 which has gapless playback and m3u playlist support, which I hope to find in the PD as well.

Ordered the Plenue D Gold yesterday. It will be delivered on Friday. Yeah! :) Does anyone know which types of playlists are supported and if they can be copied from and to the Plenue? I would like to edit my playlists on my pc and then copy them to the player.

Thanks for the info. I am ripping my albums in FLAC. I only have a few MP3 files, but they don't require gapless playback.

pat1984 I am experiencing the exact same problem with my Fiio X1 when playing the first two tracks of Marillion's Misplaced Childhood. The first time there's either a little click or a very small gap between the two tracks. When I play it again everything is fine. From then on also no problems...

Do you also have this problem when playing non-hires FLAC files from the internal memory?

I might be interested in buying this player as a replacement for my Cowon D2+. Does it indeed have flawless gapless playback for both FLAC (44.1khz/16 bit)and MP3 files? And can it handle M3U playlists by copying those playlists to the device using windows explorer? Thanks. Harold.
