Nice to see someone else on here that listens to some of the same stuff I listen too. Yes and no. half of reggae these days are really bassy. Especially some of the bands he mentioned. For example, stuff like bob marley or steel pulse do fine on normal bass.

Since its said that the 558 and 598 are improved in a few areas including bass, I am totally disregarding the 555 and 595 and instead im going to comsider getting the 558 and doing the 598 mod. but I still want a set of m50s for all around use since they dont leak.
