Reviews + impressions thread: Final Audio Design Pandora Hope VI (interesting dynamic + BA full size headphones)
The Sonorous VI and the Pandora Hope VI are essentially the same headphone. They were renamed due a trademark issue. They did also put slightly thicker pads on them, because people were complaining about the comfort, but they're otherwise the same.- HipHopScribe

On the hunt for a pair of wireless headphones
I had the non-Pro 1More Sonoflow and thought they were really good for the price. Pretty balanced sound for a consumer ANC headphone, comfortable for me, and decent ANC. I don't know what changes they've made for the "Pro" model, but if it's similar or even improved I'd say that's a good one to...- HipHopScribe

Oppo PM-3 : The Portable Planar - Impressions
I would second the earlier recommendation to look at EQ rather than pad changes to alter sound. In my experience, the PM-3s are very susceptible to pads changes, more than even many other closed headphones, and it's going to be hard to target bass reduction with pads without drastically altering...- HipHopScribe

Edifier spirit stax s5
It's also not an ANC headphone, which limits its usefulness. Personally, I do too much plane travel to even consider portable headphones without ANC- HipHopScribe

why do so many high end iems come with the heaviest and bulkiest cables?
Yep, it's a matter of feeding consumer perception, no matter how illogical- HipHopScribe

No concern with pairing them with the Atom+ at normal volumes. I used to drive mine with an OG Atom when I owned them- HipHopScribe

Oppo PM-3 : The Portable Planar - Impressions
That was my issue when I tried the S3. I am curious about whether they've fixed that with the S5- HipHopScribe

Unveiled: Meet the HD 620S
Did you read what Eric wrote? He never said the transducer shared parts with other 600 series headphones, he said production machinery and production methods were shared. Your size measurements don’t confirm or disprove that.- HipHopScribe

Unveiled: Meet the HD 620S
This was answered above. It’s a 600 series driver because it uses the same machinery and production methods of other 600 series headphones. Of course the dimensions will be different, because it's sharing a platform with the 500 series, so the components need to be the same size as 500 series...- HipHopScribe

Oppo PM-3 : The Portable Planar - Impressions
I use these, perfect fit. From my impressions they mostly retain the stock sound. Still pleather though, so they'll also eventually disintegrate. Really wish they offered a premium leather option.- HipHopScribe

Unveiled: Meet the HD 620S
XLR makes zero sense for a headphone that many people are going to use as a portable headphone, and since 4.4mm is becoming very common on portable DAC/Amps and DAPs, and even some desktop equipment is using it now, it makes a lot of sense, but nothing in the world is stopping you from just...- HipHopScribe

Resolved: Paypal alternatives for classifieds?
The rules technically don't require PayPal, they only require that you use protected payment methods, i.e. methods with a dispute process, rather than unprotected methods that just transfer cash with no mechanism to dispute if the transaction isn't fulfilled. I think your bigger issue is...- HipHopScribe
