    Look like it has small gap between ear cups and the frame. Similar to Fostex TH610.

    If you still have A1000z around, buy a thick pair of earpads. A1000z would become a great competitor in 400$

    A1000z is amazing. Came on new year days, it just needs a thick ear pads to become super comfy. Sounded clean, clear, very good detail, little bit bump in mid bass. Soundstage and separation are so great. My first Ath headphone :), prefer A1000z over previous HD600

    Ali pads are comfort step back, I don't think it's a good choice in summerday 😂. But Ali pads give me coherent sound, deeper bass, mid and treble sound right for me. I'm glad to hear that you like it.
